Nepal Tourism Board is collaborating with Ekadeshma International Short Film Festival for “Naturally Nepal Short Film Competition”. It has opened up its application and the deadline for the application is set on February 28, 2018. To clarify, the competition is open to Nepali citizens only. Hence, filmmakers, directors and film owners from all over the areas are called upon to take part in the competition. The competition will be conducted in accordance with the rules and regulations set forth by Nepal Tourism Board along with Ekadeshma International Short Film Festival.
The criteria for the competition are that it must be shot within the geographical boundaries of Nepal representing Nepal’s tourism potentials with duration of 7 minutes. NTB does not limit any number of files that can be submitted by any one individual. However, All the footage and audio, including music in the videos, should be original.
The theme for the competition is set as ‘Journey’. Furthermore, some of the aspects required in the content of film are landscapes, wildlife, history, rural tourism and so forth. The participants can submit their film of any genre- fiction or non-fiction.
